In ten seconds:
  • What: a UK legal CRM and matter-workflow layer whose AI assistant answers from your data and proposes — a lawyer confirms every change.
  • Connects: AI Lawyer drafting · Telelegal consultations · Accounting summaries · HR & Payroll.
  • Never: deletes from a chat, touches client-account money, or sends anything without you.
  • Cost to try: free account, no card.

From first enquiry to paid invoice — the legal workflow map

What the AI Legal CRM Assistant does today

Understand your workload

Pipeline and deal-stage summaries, open tasks, dormant records and what needs attention next — in plain English, from your authorised CRM data.

Chase the money owed

Authorised invoice and aged-receivables summaries from Accounting. Ask which invoices are outstanding, and for how long — then have it propose the follow-up task.

Propose — you confirm

New tasks, CRM notes, deals, customer updates and draft-invoice requests arrive as proposal cards. Nothing takes effect until you confirm; Accounting keeps the ledger.

Hand drafting to the AI Lawyer

A structured drafting handoff carries confirmed client and matter context into your AI Lawyer workspace — client updates, letters and documents produced as drafts for solicitor review.

Keep consultations in view

Authorised Telelegal booking information beside the client record, with preparation and follow-up tasks proposed around each consultation.

Deliberately conservative

It cannot delete records from a conversation — destructive actions are excluded or routed through a separate permission, retention and approval process — and it never touches solicitor client-account money.

Built for the way UK legal professionals practise

Small law firms & solo practitioners

  • Prospective clients and instruction opportunities in one pipeline — no more spreadsheet triage.
  • Approved matter statuses, follow-ups and limitation-aware task lists beside each client.
  • Aged debt visible the moment you ask — and the chase letter drafted in your AI Lawyer workspace for your review.
  • Upcoming Telelegal consultations with preparation tasks teed up.

Barristers & chambers

  • Instructions and professional-client relationships tracked as a pipeline — who instructed, what stage, what next.
  • Aged fee notes visible the moment you ask, with the chaser proposed for your approval.
  • Preparation and follow-up tasks teed up around Telelegal conferences.
  • Drafting handoffs carry the instruction context into your AI Lawyer workspace — output stays a draft for counsel's review.

In-house counsel & legal consultants

  • Internal clients, advice requests and follow-ups in one queue instead of a buried inbox.
  • Linked matter statuses and workloads summarised on demand for the business.
  • Authorised workforce and billing summaries beside your legal workflows — records stay in HR & Payroll and Accounting.

On the roadmap — the full solicitor workflow

In development — not yet live. These describe the matter-workflow we are building toward for UK practices; nothing here is a current-capability claim. Want to shape or pilot them? E-mail support [at] dogetlawyer [dot] com with "CRM pilot" in the subject, or use Help & Support in your dashboard.
Solicitor-specific intake

Enquiry-to-instruction stages: conflict information, consultation booked, fee proposal, client-care documents, instruction accepted.

Conflict-check workflow

Names searched, dates, possible matches and the approving solicitor's decision — the professional conflict decision always stays human.

Onboarding, CDD & risk

Identity information, verification status, risk levels, supervisor approvals and periodic reviews — organised, never "guaranteed compliant".

Matter pipelines by practice area

Commercial, litigation and employment boards with matter references, responsible and supervising solicitors and key dates — not sales-deal language.

Legal calendaring & deadlines

Critical-date distinction, repeated reminders, escalation, dual confirmation — AI may suggest dates, a solicitor verifies them.

Time recording & budgets

Draft time entries from recent activity for fee-earner review; estimates, budgets and threshold alerts.

WhatsApp & Telegram access

Selected, permission-controlled assistant functions for authorised staff — sensitive actions confirmed in the secure dashboard, never over messaging.

Roles & supervision

Firm-owner to paralegal roles with permissions over clients, matters, documents, financial data and AI tools.

Guard-rails a regulated profession can live with

Proposal-first, alwaysEvery suggested change is a card you confirm; sensitive writes queue for an approver.
No conversational deletionDestructive actions are excluded or routed through a separate permission, retention and approval process.
Client money untouchableClient-account movements are never automated — that is SRA Accounts Rules territory and stays with authorised humans.
Erasure done properlyData-subject erasure runs through the Privacy Rights system with identity checks and deadlines — never through a chat.
Audit rail on everythingPrompts, proposals, approvals and rejections are recorded.
Drafts stay draftsAI output is marked for review; nothing is presented as approved legal work.

Important product boundary. This product is an AI-assisted legal CRM and matter-workflow system. It does not replace a solicitor's professional judgement, independent legal review, specialist legal accounting software or the firm's regulatory responsibilities.

AI-generated content, extracted information, suggested deadlines and draft documents must be reviewed by an appropriately authorised user before reliance, filing, sending or approval.

Questions UK lawyers ask us

Is this a practice-management system?
It is an AI-assisted legal CRM and matter-workflow layer — the relationship and coordination layer connecting AI Lawyer drafting, Telelegal consultations, Accounting and HR & Payroll. It does not claim to be a complete practice-management system, and it is not specialist legal accounting software.
Where does the matter record live?
With the legal-practice side of the platform. The CRM shows authorised matter-status summaries from linked matters beside your client and pipeline data — privilege, conflicts and the legal record itself are not CRM property.
What stops the AI doing something it shouldn't?
Its actions run on a governed rail: read-and-summarise tools, then proposal tools whose output is a card you confirm, then queued approval for sensitive writes. Deletion from a conversation and client-account money movements are refused by design, with the reason shown. Everything is audit-logged.
Will it send emails, documents or invoices to my clients by itself?
No. Drafts stay drafts, invoice requests stay requests, and nothing leaves the workspace from a conversation. Every proposal is a card that waits for your confirmation, and Accounting remains responsible for invoice, payment and ledger records.
Where is my data hosted and who can see it?
Our primary application hosting environment is located in the Netherlands, within the EEA, and the assistant answers only from data you are authorised to see. The categories of organisations involved in processing — and your rights — are set out in our Privacy Policy.
What about privilege and confidential papers?
Privileged analysis and the legal file belong on the legal-practice side of the platform, not in CRM notes. The CRM receives authorised matter-status summaries only, and the assistant will not identify or act on records you are not permitted to access. See How we use AI for the wider picture.
What does it cost?
You can start with a free account — no payment card needed — and open Business Tools in your dashboard. Current plans and inclusions are always on the pricing page.
When are WhatsApp/Telegram access and the intake & conflict workflows coming?
They are on the roadmap above — in development, not yet live. If your firm wants to shape or pilot them, e-mail us with "CRM pilot" in the subject via the address in the roadmap section, or use Help & Support in your dashboard.
What happens if I want to leave?
Your data rights don't depend on staying. You can export your data or request erasure at any time through Privacy & Data Rights — the process is recorded, deadline-tracked and handled under the Privacy Policy. No lock-in.

Your next instruction deserves better than a spreadsheet

Clients, linked matters, tasks and fee visibility — with an AI assistant that proposes and a lawyer who decides. Legal-sector AI adoption is accelerating through 2026; start where it is safest: administration first, judgement always human.

Dogetlawyer is a legal-technology platform, not a law firm. The CRM Assistant provides administrative help and legal-information workflows — not legal advice. "AI Lawyer" is a product name for AI software.
