Manage clients, deals, linked matters and tasks with an AI assistant that answers from your authorised CRM data, highlights what needs attention and proposes the next step. You confirm every change.

For Solicitors & Small Law Firms

Dogetlawyer's business tools are built with legal practice in mind. The CRM Assistant is the relationship and coordination layer connecting your other tools — keep prospective clients, instruction opportunities, follow-up tasks, approved matter statuses from linked matters, outstanding invoices and upcoming Telelegal consultations visible in one workspace, with an AI assistant that answers from your authorised data and proposes the next step for you to confirm. Legal drafting hands off to the AI Lawyer workspace for review; bookings stay in Telelegal; invoices, payments and ledgers stay in Accounting; employee records stay in HR & Payroll. It assists with administration, retrieval, drafting and reporting — professional judgement, regulated decisions and client-account money remain with you and your existing systems.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What are the Business Tools?
A set of tools included with your Dogetlawyer account: accounting and invoicing, HR and payroll, and project management — so the rest of your business runs where your contracts already live.
What can the accounting tool do?
Invoicing and double-entry bookkeeping, UK-first with country packs for several countries — send invoices, record payments and keep your books in order.
Does it do payroll?
Yes — employee records, payroll runs and SEO-ready job postings, with country profiles for multiple jurisdictions.
What is in the project management tool?
Projects, tasks and time tracking with a modern Kanban board, plus Board, List, Calendar and Timeline views.
What is the CRM Assistant?
The CRM Assistant helps you search and understand your own customer and business information using natural language. It can summarise contacts, companies, deal stages, open tasks and notes, alongside approved information from connected services such as linked matter statuses, Telelegal bookings, workforce summaries, and authorised invoice and aged-receivables summaries from Accounting. It can also propose actions such as creating a follow-up task, adding a CRM note, updating a deal, preparing a customer update or requesting a draft invoice — while Accounting remains responsible for invoice, payment and ledger records. Proposed changes do not take effect until the required user confirmation or approval is completed.
Who is the CRM Assistant useful for?
It is designed for small law firms, solo practitioners, SMEs, HR teams and other client-facing businesses. Small law firms can keep prospective clients, instruction opportunities, follow-up tasks, approved matter statuses, outstanding invoices and upcoming Telelegal consultations visible in one workspace. SMEs can manage customers, sales opportunities, tasks, proposals and connected contract workflows without switching between disconnected systems. HR professionals can view authorised workforce summaries alongside their wider customer and operational workflows, while detailed employee records remain within HR & Payroll.
Can it create legal documents or manage Telelegal appointments?
The CRM Assistant can prepare a structured drafting handoff using confirmed CRM information and send it to the AI Lawyer workspace for legal-document creation or review. The resulting document remains a draft and must be reviewed before reliance or use. It can also keep authorised Telelegal booking information visible, create follow-up tasks and help users prepare for upcoming consultations. Appointment availability, booking and rescheduling remain within Telelegal. The CRM Assistant cannot delete records directly from a conversation — destructive actions are excluded or routed through a separate permission, retention and approval process — and it does not access, manage or move solicitor client-account money. Accounting and regulated legal decisions remain within their appropriate systems and approval processes.
Is this a separate subscription?
Tool availability follows your plan, but the business tools sit inside the same account as your legal documents and contract register — one login, one place.
Which countries are supported?
UK-first, with free US templates, and country packs for the EU, Australia, Canada and New Zealand where noted. Ireland-specific services are coming soon.
Can I see how my business is doing?
Yes — Business Insights gives a business-health score, dashboards and a reporting hub with CSV export.
Do the tools connect to my contracts?
They live alongside your Contract Lifecycle Management register and documents in one workspace, so contracts, invoicing, people and projects are not scattered across separate apps.
Is it hard to set up?
No — the tools run in the browser with your existing account; there is nothing to install.
Who is this for?
UK small businesses and employers who would rather run invoicing, people and projects in the same place as their legal documents than juggle several subscriptions.
